As a decorated combat veteran who has served with distinction in some of the most challenging and dangerous theaters of operation, Congressman Mills brings a unique perspective to the critical issues facing our nation. His military service underscores his unwavering commitment to defending the freedoms and values that make America great.
Beyond his service in uniform, Congressman Mills has consistently gone above and beyond to demonstrate exceptional leadership and a deep commitment to humanitarian efforts. In 2021, he conducted the first successful overland rescue of Americans in Afghanistan, a groundbreaking operation that highlighted his ability to navigate complex and dangerous situations. In 2023, he spearheaded the rescue of 255 Americans from Israel, orchestrating the first overland rescues during a time of crisis. Most recently, in 2024, he facilitated the rescue of 23 Americans and 59 mentally and physically disabled children from Haiti, showcasing his unwavering dedication to saving lives under extreme circumstances.
In addition to these extraordinary efforts, Congressman Mills has also played a vital role in disaster response and recovery efforts. He personally responded to hurricane recovery missions, airlifting and delivering 23,000 pounds of critical supplies to communities in Western North Carolina. His actions include conducting dozens of search and rescue operations, medevacs, medical supply drops, and providing essential resources to those in need. He facilitated the delivery of 50 Starlink systems for Florida Highway Patrol to restore communication, coordinated supply drops of food and non-perishables to Seminole and Volusia County fire departments and sheriff’s offices, and distributed 40 generators to assist elderly residents, children’s homes, schools, and other critical facilities. In his role as a member of Congress, Cory Mills has been a steadfast advocate for veterans, military families, and national security. He consistently champions policies that uphold the principles of limited government, personal responsibility, and individual liberty—values that resonate deeply with Floridians and Americans nationwide. His commitment to the Constitution and his proven leadership makes him an ideal choice to represent the state of Florida in the United States Senate.
